As a 21 year old male, the transition between education and work is still very fresh. Being in such a tough economic state right now everything you do and achieve in the business end of education is pivotal, starting with GCSEs.
With great grades, you have the flexibility to think about future goals and prospects.
It's better to be limited to what you want to do with your career due to your choices rather than by what you achieved at school.
