About Alfie
I am currently studying Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) at university, giving me valuable experience in teaching, lesson planning and adapting my approach to suit different learners. I have GCSE and A-Level qualifications in both Maths and Physics and enjoy helping students develop a stronger understanding of subjects that can sometimes feel challenging.
My approach is supportive and structured, with a focus on building confidence alongside subject knowledge. I aim to create relaxed, engaging sessions where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and working through problems at their own pace.

I offer friendly, supportive tutoring in GCSE Maths and Physics, as well as lower levels, for students who want to build confidence, improve their understanding and achieve their goals.
Sessions are 30–60 minutes, available as one-to-one or small-group lessons. I adapt each session to the student’s needs, using clear explanations, worked examples, questioning and practice to help them understand why something works, rather than simply memorising it.
I am currently studying Primary Education with QTS, giving me experience in teaching, lesson planning and adapting learning to suit different abilities. I also hold GCSE and A-Level qualifications in both Maths and Physics.
My aim is to make lessons relaxed and enjoyable while still providing structured, focused support.
