About Mimanshak
Hi! I'm Mimanshak, a Year 12 student currently studying A-Level Mathematics, Physics and Biology. I recently completed my GCSEs, achieving 7 A*s and 2 As, with scores of up to 95% in my science papers.
I've always had a genuine passion for science, mathematics and understanding how things work. Outside the classroom, I'm particularly interested in biology, engineering and science-based fitness, where I enjoy applying scientific knowledge to real-life situations.
Having only recently completed my GCSEs, I know firsthand how stressful exams can be. I've spent considerable time researching and experimenting with evidence-based revision techniques, discovering what works and what doesn't. I'd love to share that knowledge and help other students achieve their academic goals.
I also speak four languages: English, Hindi, Swahili and Urdu, which helps me communicate with students from different backgrounds.
My goal is simple: to make learning enjoyable, build students' confidence and help them achieve results they're genuinely proud of.

My approach to tutoring is built around one simple idea: understanding science and maths is far more effective than simply memorising information.
Having recently completed my GCSEs, achieving 7 A*s and 2 As, I understand the challenges students face, the demands of exams and the revision techniques that actually work.
My lessons combine evidence-based learning techniques such as active recall, spaced repetition and the Feynman technique with plenty of exam-style questions. I focus on helping students understand difficult concepts, apply their knowledge to unfamiliar questions and develop effective exam techniques.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes and are tailored to each student's individual needs, strengths and weaknesses. I use exam board specifications and past-paper mark schemes to ensure we're covering exactly what's required.
I offer tutoring in GCSE Maths, Biology and Physics, as well as support for younger students. My goal is not just to improve grades, but to help students become confident, independent learners who genuinely enjoy their subjects!
