About Sangietha
Hello, I’m Sangietha — a qualified Maths teacher (PGCE), Biomedical Science graduate from King’s College London, and a warm, SEN-aware tutor with over 15 years of experience supporting KS2–KS4 learners. Beyond teaching, I’m also a professional dancer, a multilingual speaker (6 languages), a solo traveller, a motorcycle rider, and a mother — all of which shape my calm, intuitive and highly human approach to education. These experiences help me understand children deeply: how they learn, how they express themselves, how they cope with pressure, and what they need to feel safe, confident and capable. I specialise in supporting students who feel anxious, overwhelmed, or lost in large classrooms — especially those preparing for GCSE Maths (Years 10 & 11). My teaching blends wellbeing, structure and clarity, creating a small, safe learning community where every child can thrive. If you want your child to learn in a calm, supportive small group (max 4 students), I’d love to welcome them. I understand: children’s emotions their frustrations their anxieties their need for safety and reassurance the realities parents face at home I teach with the same gentleness, guidance and encouragement I would want for my own child. Parents often tell me: “You have a way of connecting with children that feels both professional and deeply human.

Recommendations
Recommendations come from relatives, friends and acquaintances of the teacher
Sangietha worked for Brainbuilders for a term, tutoring year 8&9 children in maths. She was a wonderful tutor and we’d definitely recommend her!
I had Miss Gana as a Maths teacher at my school and she was lovely! Miss Gana really helped me to build my confidence and I would definitely recommend her as a tutor
There are many different tutors out there but there is a key difference with Sangeetha, the quality of the teaching is incredible. Her lessons are well planned, she is able to make complex topics simple to understand and has a positive influence on the students’ attitude towards learning. Would definitely recommend her to parents who would like their children to reach new heights in their mathematics learning.
Sangietha is a wonderful woman, mother, and tutor. She has always excelled in Maths but her character qualities are what I wish to highlight. She’s open to knowledge even if it challenges her beliefs and that takes being a good listener and having courage. She seeks truth and asks for advice and help, which is super important- guiding others begins with being guided ourselves. Finally, she has an element of playfulness that is crucial to enjoy anything in life and educating with creativity. Highly recommend her!
