About Max
I want to teach because I know how difficult it can be when a topic is explained in a way that doesn’t quite make sense to you. As a student myself, I understand the challenges of learning new concepts and keeping up with the pace of school.
My aim is to make lessons interactive and focused on genuine understanding. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and taking the time they need to understand a concept properly.
I also want to share the revision and exam techniques that helped me achieve strong GCSE results, while adapting my teaching to suit each individual student. Whether a student needs help understanding a difficult topic, practising exam questions or building confidence in a subject, I want my lessons to give them a clearer understanding of what they are learning and why.

I aim to explain concepts in an engaging and interactive way, using the learning techniques that helped me achieve an average GCSE grade of 8. My lessons focus on developing a genuine understanding of the subject before applying that knowledge to exam-style questions, helping students build confidence and improve their exam technique.
I also help students manage the large amount of content required for GCSEs by sharing effective revision strategies, memory techniques and study tools that helped me retain and apply information throughout my own GCSE studies.
My goal is to help students understand not just what they need to learn, but why it works and how to use their knowledge effectively in exams.
