About Arron

I’m a First-Class Computer Science graduate from the University of Manchester, and I have extensive experience tutoring secondary school students in Maths and Science subjects. I have 8 years of tutoring experience, starting as a peer mentor during my A levels, helping classmates with challenging coursework, and since then I’ve developed a strong track record teaching students across multiple exam boards (AQA, OCR, Edexcel, WJEC, and CIE).

Alongside tutoring, I've worked as a software engineer developing cutting-edge AI technology, which allows me to bring practical, modern examples into my lessons.

Outside of computing, I'm passionate about music, cooking, and visual art. These creative outlets balance my technical side and shape how I teach. My goal is to help every student not only master the material but also build curiosity and confidence that go beyond the classroom.

About the lesson

I offer GCSE Maths and Science lessons tailored to each student’s needs and learning style. Whether you’re aiming to improve exam performance, understand tricky concepts, or catch up on coursework, I create lessons that are structured, engaging, and interactive.

Lessons are suitable for students across all major exam boards (AQA, OCR, Edexcel, WJEC, CIE).

I’m DBS-certified and SEN-friendly, drawing on my own neurodivergent experience to create a supportive and flexible learning environment. I understand that every student learns differently and take time to adapt my teaching approach so that each lesson feels comfortable, clear, and confidence-building.

Arron is a great computing tutor. He explain theory concepts and doubts about them very clearly and includes key terminology in his answers. He is also really good for coding as he gives you hints rather than just telling you the answer straight away and makes coding questions that are very related to the GCSE specification.

Arron tutored my son in A-level Computer Science. My son had been struggling with the theory part of the course. Arron was able to teach the topics in a way that were more accessible to my son than in school and this really helped him build up a much better understanding of the subject.
