About Henry

Hi, I’m Henry. I got A*s in A-level Maths and Further Maths this summer, and at school I ran the maths society. I’m currently on a gap year and tutoring GCSE Maths. I am applying to Cambridge over this gap year.

I have experience tutoring for both GCSE and A-level maths.

About the lesson

About the lessons
I cover the full GCSE Maths course at the Foundation and Higher tiers for AQA, Edexcel and OCR.

We will start by identifying where marks are being lost and what the student struggles with, either through a short set of questions, a recent mock or test, or a discussion about where they think they struggle.

In each lesson, we will focus on doing exam questions, whether that be to learn a topic or to practise and get better at it.

I teach exam technique alongside the maths: showing working to pick up method marks, reading what the question is actually asking, timing, and checking answers.
