About Masal
Hi! I’m Masal, an A-Level student studying Biology, Chemistry and Further Maths. I’ve recently been through my own GCSEs, achieving A*s in Maths, Biology and Chemistry, so I know exactly how stressful and overwhelming they can feel.
I want to tutor because I genuinely enjoy helping others understand things that might seem difficult at first. I’ve discovered study methods that worked really well for me, and I’d love to share them with other students and help make their GCSE journey less stressful, more organised and even enjoyable!
I want my lessons to feel friendly and relaxed, while still helping you make real progress and work towards the grades you’re aiming for.

My teaching style is all about making GCSEs feel less stressful and much more manageable! I used active recall, the Feynman Technique and blurting throughout my own GCSEs, and they helped me achieve A*s in Maths, Biology, Chemistry and my other subjects.
Instead of simply reading notes, I encourage students to actively test themselves, explain topics in their own words and find the gaps in their knowledge. We’ll use past-paper questions and regular practice to turn those weak areas into strengths.
I want my lessons to be relaxed, interactive and enjoyable, while still keeping students focused and organised. With the right techniques, consistent practice and a structured approach, getting A*s doesn’t have to feel overwhelming — I’ve done it myself, and I want to help you do it too!
