About Ioana

Hi! I’m a 3rd year medical student with a strong background in Biology and Chemistry and a genuine love for teaching. I achieved top grades at GCSE and A-level, and I know how overwhelming science can feel at times. Through medical school, I’ve developed effective study techniques and a deep understanding of how to learn complex topics efficiently. I enjoy breaking down tricky concepts into simple, manageable parts to help students build confidence and truly understand what they’re learning – not just memorise it. I am patient, friendly, and committed to supporting each student to reach their goals. I believe that with the right guidance and approach, every student can improve their grades and start enjoying science.

Interactive and exam-focused – I integrate past paper questions, clear explanations, and memory techniques to boost confidence. Supportive and approachable – I create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions and make mistakes as they grow. Structure of my lessons: Quick review of previous topics to reinforce learning Focused teaching of new concepts with real-life examples to aid understanding Practice questions to apply knowledge Tips on exam technique and revision strategies I truly believe science can be understood by everyone with the right approach. My aim is not only to help you achieve your target grades but also to make science enjoyable and less overwhelming.
