About Tara

Before considering me as a Spanish tutor for your child, I'd like you to ask them a few simple questions: • What's the difference between "vosotros" and "ustedes"? • What's the difference between the preterite and imperfect past tenses? • What's the difference between the simple and informal future tenses? If these questions seem challenging, it's NOT a reflection on your child's abilities. At school, these basics should be introduced at the very beginning. However, many students struggle because teachers often move on too quickly without checking whether everyone understands the lesson content. This can make it tough for a lot of students to keep up. That's why I've made it my mission to revisit these concepts in my lesson plans and openly address any queries students may have. Beyond grammar, I also offer lessons that cover the entire GCSE curriculum, including themes such as "el ciberespacio," "el matrimonio," and "las fiestas.,” among others. My goal is to make your child as excited about learning Spanish as I am about teaching it.

About the lesson

Just let me know what you need help with before the lesson and I will custom-tailour a lesson plan which covers a variety of exercises to help you fully understand and retain knowledge in this area of learning. I am a very patient and enthusiastic teacher, keen to help you fully understand every area of the Spanish language.
