About Kirby
Neurodivergent brains often process biological systems in non-linear ways, which is exactly why my methods prioritize clarity over speed. My MS Biological Sciences degree informs my technical rigor, yet I keep my desk minimalist to avoid sensory clutter during our work. Over 12 years of teaching, I have refined my ability to explain microbiology and complex cell biology to students who need precision without the usual academic noise.
