About Janet
Sun salutations, restorative yoga, and hip openers define my practice, providing you with a foundation that centers on comfort and stability. My 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh combined with 13 years of instruction informs how I adapt Hatha fundamentals to your unique physical reality. Because I have spent over a decade teaching both online and in studios, I recognize that progress is a quiet, internal process. I focus on posture correction for desk-workers to ensure your body feels open and supported throughout the day.

Stepping onto the mat for the first time means finding a pace that respects your current mobility and strength levels. We start by observing how your body naturally moves, noting where you feel tension or ease during basic Hatha stretches. I keep these classes unhurried because that is how you develop real, sustainable core strength without strain.
My approach relies on the 13 years of teaching experience I have gained to ensure you never feel rushed or out of place. It is quite interesting how simple, clear adjustments make such a difference in how you feel afterward. You will eventually find the range of motion that allows you to move through your day with much more grace.
