About Nicholas
Qualified Geography teacher with 1+ year's experience working in UK education in state schools and PRUs. Prior experience teaching English and Natural Resource Management at Dhonburi Rajaphat University in Bangkok as well as environmental education in Mexico. I enjoy teaching students from a range of backgrounds and cultures. I studied Geography BA at King's College London and recently completed an MPhil in Education at Cambridge University, researching learning from home during the covid-19 school closures. Currently working as an education development officer for British Cycling, specialising in learning design.

My teaching methods are engaging and focus on generating discussion and critical thinking, ensuring pupils appreciate the wider picture of what they are learning as well as finding and applying answers to problems. I am deeply interested in the way people learn and strive to make lessons and resources both appropriate to the level required and exciting for the learner. I am happy to teach KS3/4/5 as well as provide university coaching.
