About Maciek

In the 2024/25 school year, I am the most decorated Geography tutor in Poland – seven of my students became winners or finalists of the LI Geography Olympiad! You can find a link to my students’ reviews in the YouTube video description – feel free to check it out

As a participant in recent Olympiads, I have achieved:
• 3rd place in the final of the 45th Geography Olympiad in 2019 (laureate title)
• 1st place in Poland at the qualifying camp for the International Geography Olympiads
• Bronze medal at the Baltic Geography Olympiad in Kaliningrad, 2019
• Silver medal at the 16th International Geography Olympiad in Hong Kong, 2019 (15th place worldwide)
• 7th place worldwide in Fieldwork and 7th place in the Multimedia Quiz at iGeo in Hong Kong

I also have experience not only as an Olympiad participant but also as a juror evaluating international competitions:) In 2025, I served as a juror at the European Geography Olympiad (XI EGeo) in Vilnius, assessing the work of participants from 17 countries. As the only Pole, I was also a member of the "Task Force" – the committee organizing the European Olympiad.

In my lessons, I will show you not only what to learn, but also what the graders pay attention to when evaluating your work!

About the lesson

I invite you to classes (individual tutoring) in geography preparing for all stages of the • Geography Olympiad •! If you are fresh out of Stage 1 thesis, this is the perfect time to start preparing for the very important district stages! Classes are conducted in the form of • online •. Thanks to this, no matter which part of Poland you are from - the place is not a limitation, and the time of meetings can be arranged freely. Thanks to my own experience and experience in effective preparation for the Olympics, I offer help in theoretical and practical learning for individual stages of the Geographic Olympiad. You don't have to read a lot of thick books to prepare for the Olympics - there are better ways! During the classes: ︎︎ • You will learn how to prepare for the Olympics ︎ • You will learn the practical dimension of each of the stages - what they are about ︎ • We will discuss topics from the core curriculum, which have not yet been covered in school lessons, but are necessary for the Olympics • ︎ You will learn special topics that often appear at the Olympics, and are not discussed at school • ︎You will receive tips and numerous learning materials - both public and my own studies • You will solve a lot of tasks and geographic puzzles - prepared especially for classes • ︎We will talk and practice solving Written tests • You will prepare for oral presentations • ︎ You will understand what a multimedia quiz is and what you can expect from it • ︎ I also offer preparation for a qualification camp for international competitions • and ... if you have other suggestions for topics that you want to discuss, we will also take care of it Feel free to contact me - feel free to write! Here is a handful of useful information about the Olympics: What is the course of the Olympics after the writing of stage I works: ︎ • Until 20/12/2020 - verification of participants' works and announcement of the list of participants qualified for the next stage ︎ • 02/06/2021 - written part of the second stage ︎ • 07/02/2021 - the oral part of the 2nd stage - an oral statement and a multimedia quiz -11 • April 8-11, 2021 - final competition in Gdynia - written and oral part ︎ • May 28-30, 2021 - qualification camp for international Olympics ︎ • June / July 2021 - Baltic Olympics Geograficzna ︎ • August 2021 - The International Olympiad in Geography in Istanbul Why is it worth getting ready and successful in the Olympics: ︎ • 100% in geography for the finalists and winners of the Olympics ︎ • Index (admission out of qualification) for many Polish universities for laureates, facilities in recruitment for some of the fields of study for finalists - I recommend checking if the university and the field of interest grant admission to the winners / finalists of the Olympics! ︎ • The title of finalist / laureate is a strong argument in the motivation letter for foreign universities ︎ • 4-day trip to the seaside for the final competition in Gdynia - in April, during the school year! ︎ • Material prizes at stage 2 and 3 • Scholarships from the Minister, Prime Minister, Local Government Authorities, University Rectors (for 1st year students) and others for the winners and (sometimes) finalists of the Olympics - it is really worth checking what we are entitled to, because each of the these scholarships are counted in thousands of zlotys! ︎ • Possibility to qualify for the International Geography Olympiad (iGeo) in Istanbul and the Baltic Geography Olympiad - for the winners of the first 10 places in the final
