About Kirsty
My lessons will be tailored to your needs, the first meeting focusing on where you need the most help as well as working out what methods of learning work best for you. Every session I run will be different and will be designed to support and encourage your studies. We will work at your pace and if something isn't working, we will work together to find another way around the problem! My strengths lie more in physical geography- weather, climate, natural hazards, geomorphology, coastal, geology, ecosystems and disasters. However, I do also have human geography experience too, mostly in geopolitics, settlement, countryside management and urbanisation. I have previous experience teaching English as a Foreign Language as well as working as a volunteer classroom assistant. I will be returning to university in September 2020 to undertake a PGCE in Secondary Geography. I will incorporate a mixture of elements into the lessons, from games to videos, to worksheets.
