Hello! My name is James, and I am a student at OIT, where I am studying geomatics. I also work full-time as a part of a land surveying crew. I graduated from high school in 2024 with an AA. During that time, I tutored several students as I was a part of a tutoring club. I use math every day and enjoy getting to share my knowledge.

As a surveyor, I use math every day in real-world situations, and I enjoy helping students understand not just how to solve problems, but why the concepts matter. Before lessons, I take time to understand where each student is in their studies so I can create an individualized learning plan that fits their goals, strengths, and learning style. My lessons are patient, supportive, and focused on building confidence as well as strong problem-solving skills.
