About Lex
I have a degree in geophysics from the University of Calgary. Throughout my degree i took several high-level math and physics courses and am confident I can take on any problem that comes my way. Teaching comes very natural to me and I have been tutoring peers since 2012.

My teaching methods are straight forward, I prep based on the curriculum and follow it closely to ensure that the student has the ability to answer any test question. When introducing a new concept to a student I like to begin by going over theory followed by practice problems. I always start with simple problems to ensure the student has the proper foundation. I then move into tougher problems like ones you would see on an exam. I am very detail oriented and pride myself on always being prepared before a lesson. I am firm, but fair. I have a lot of patience with students and will go above and beyond in order to see them succeed. MATH ROCKS!
