About Georgia
I decided to become a teacher because I know what it’s like to feel unseen in the classroom. Growing up, I often struggled with learning content that didn’t feel engaging or tailored to how I learn best. I didn’t have teachers who adjusted their approach or made learning feel personal, and that experience stuck with me. Rather than letting that discourage me, it motivated me to become the kind of educator I wish I’d had — someone who takes the time to understand each student’s needs, who makes learning approachable and enjoyable, and who creates a safe space where students feel confident to ask questions and take risks. As I continue my studies in teaching and work with students in my role as a Student Support Worker, I carry that purpose with me. Every learner deserves to be supported in a way that works for them — and I’m passionate about making that happen.

Hi! My name is Georgia, and I'm a 25-year-old education student with a strong passion for helping young learners thrive academically and personally. For the past three years, I've worked in schools as a Student Support Worker, where I've gained valuable experience assisting students with diverse learning needs across a range of subjects and year levels. I'm currently completing my teaching degree and offer tutoring for students from primary through to Year 9 in the following subjects: Math English General Science Humanities My approach to tutoring is patient, supportive, and tailored to each student’s unique learning style. I focus not just on content, but also on building confidence and developing effective study skills that students can carry with them throughout their education.
