About Jose
My objective is to advance your German, and to do so, we will work as a team. To begin, you will let me know your goals in studying German, then I'll personalize your lessons. Are you studying for school or work? Do you like to travel? Do you have German-speaking friends? Or maybe studying German is a hobby for you.
No matter what your goal, we will make the lessons fun and enjoyable. You will move closer to achieving your objectives in speaking German. My approach to teaching German is to incorporate the four basic language skills - speaking, writing, listening, and reading - into every lesson. By using these skills simultaneously, a learner can acquire both the productive and comprehensive skills to speak a language fluently. We will identify your existing strengths and fortify the other areas so that you will become a well-rounded German speaker.
If you have specific goals to meet with your German lessons, we will focus your studies accordingly. Are you studying for school or work? Is there a test you’d like to study for? Do you like to travel? Do you have German-speaking friends? I will personalize your lessons and we will work as a team to meet your objectives.
My belief is that learning a language should be enjoyable. Gaining new skills and being able to communicate is a marvelous thing! I will try to make your classes fun and interesting. When you are comfortable, the environment is ideal for learning. One-on-one language lessons should be fun and enjoyable.
