About Anze
I am a German tutor, a circus pedagogue and an interactive performer with an MA degree in German language, culture and literature. I have accomplished part of my studies in Germany, and worked there a few months. I have a year of private German and English teaching experience in my home country (Slovenia), and am now excited to pass on my knowledge in the city I now call my home (London), helping my students reach their goals, pass exams, develop appreciation for a foreign language and skill how to keep on learning. As part of my studies, I have taught German in schools, KS3 and KS4.
For the past four years I have predominately been focusing on teaching various circus skills to children, youngsters and adults, helping our students grow physical skills as well as confidence and appreciation for hard work. I have done so within P.E. lessons, after school clubs, community centres and holiday camps. I still do this, next to some interactive performing and linguistic work like teaching, translating and proof-reading. Working with people of different ages in different settings I am usually regarded as playful, creative, patient, positive and encouraging professional.
I have an enhanced DBS check (annual subscription).

When teaching a language, I believe in stimulating the appreciation for the language and its use in real-life situations. I like to ask my students of their hobbies, music and art preferences, interests, passions ... and tailor the lessons according to what drives them in life, making the learning more fun and more meaningful in the process.
