About Julia
Hi! I've studied Event Management in London and I currently work in the music industry as a booking agent. I am originally from Hamburg in Germany and would love to teach anyone from beginner to intermediate level. I have worked as a consultant for several businesses and I'd like to transfer those skills into teaching. My aim is to have each lesson tailored to the students needs and wishes.

Depending on the students needs and their level, I like to include songs and look at the lyrics or learn about current events on news websites. I want to keep the lessons interesting and relevant. Usually, I start with a song and lyrics from which I take vocabulary or phrases, discuss them, write them down and explain the grammatical structure. I then move on to discussing the lyrics or news article and add more information from different sources that shine a different light on the topics. I'd love to hear from the students in advance what they're interested in and what they want to learn so I can tailor my lesson to what they want to get out of them.
