I am a dedicated and qualified German teacher with a strong specialization in teaching German as a foreign language. Over the past six years, I have had the privilege of sharing my passion for the German language and culture with students from diverse backgrounds.

Having taught German for three years in Mexico and three years in the UK, I have gained valuable experience in both international and multicultural settings. My teaching expertise spans across various age groups, from primary school students to university students and professionals. Whether in a one-on-one setting or a group environment, I strive to create engaging and dynamic lessons that cater to individual learning styles.

I take immense pride in preparing my students for success in various language proficiency exams, including GCSEs, A-levels, TELC, and Goethe exams. Witnessing my students achieve their language goals and excel in these assessments brings me great joy and fulfillment.

Welcome to our German classes designed for exam preparation, with an exciting option for group learning! Whether you prefer one-on-one instruction or wish to learn with a friend, our approach centers around the recognition that every successful language learning journey begins with a clear goal. In our very first lesson, we will closely collaborate to understand your specific language learning objectives, ensuring that our approach is tailored to your unique needs and aspirations.

Effective communication lies at the heart of mastering a new language, and I am fully committed to empowering you with engaging learning materials that enable you to apply your language skills in a fun and effortless manner. Through interactive exercises and activities, you will build the confidence to use German effectively in real-life scenarios.

For your convenience and flexibility, our classes can be conducted either one-on-one via Zoom or as a group, allowing you to learn with a friend or partner. The group learning option not only fosters a sense of camaraderie but also offers valuable opportunities for peer practice and support. The hourly rate will vary based on the group size.

Moreover, all learning materials will be shared through WhatsApp after each session, allowing you to review the content at your own pace and add personalized notes, further enriching your language learning experience.

Louise brings great motivation to class and has a quick understanding of the grammar structures and vocabulary we have covered in past sessions. As Louise's first language learning experiences were with a language learning app, where she gained some basic vocabulary and sentence structure, we have been covering topics such as "introducing yourself" and "me and my family." We have also been working on grammar topics such as verb conjugation, definite and indefinite articles, possessive pronouns, reading short texts, and writing small paragraphs. I can say with confidence that Louise will make great progress in a short time! keep up the good work! :-)

I have been working with Alison's daughter Ellie, preparing her for her GCSE German exam. We have focused on all four areas: listening and reading comprehension, conversation, and writing. Our first sessions were focused on conversational training, vocabulary work, and grammar (tenses and sentence structure). After that, we shifted our focus to exam preparation, introducing Ellie to the GCSE exam format and different question and answer formats, and working on past papers. Ellie has made great progress, and I am very confident about her exam results. Keep up the good work, Ellie!

I found Larissa on YouTube 6 months ago. She uploaded learning videos for children in German on her channel, explaining primary school maths and German grammar. Since I studied at a German school in Portugal, I had wanted to polish up my German again for a long time. I liked the patient and clear way she explained things in her short videos, so I requested a German lesson. Already in the first lesson I felt really comfortable - I could still remember some of the DaF methods she was using from my school days. The lessons with Larissa are always very relaxed and motivating. I can recommend Larissa very highly.
