About Christina
I have been speaking and learning German for over 30 years now. After my A Levels and before University, I spent 6 months working as an Au-pair in Stuttgart. As part of my degree in French, German and European Studies, I also spent half a year working in the South of France and half a year working in the Black Forest Tourist Office in Stuttgart, Germany. After my degree, I moved to Frankfurt where I spent a year living and working. I subsequently moved to Munich and stayed for 6 years, working as a Team Assistant for a Biotechnology company. During my time there, I also helped translate a lot of the company’s Press Releases from German into English and following this, I decided to undertake a Master’s degree in German Translation.

I make my lessons interesting and fun and create a relaxing environment for my students. I am patient and teach at a pace suited to each individual student’s requirements. I am trained as a Life Coach and have coached numerous clients. I am a great communicator and can relate to students of all ages and backgrounds. I have also trained many new starters at work in my job as an Accountant and have always received extremely positive feedback. My lessons are aimed at GCSE and A Level students, but all ages are welcome. The lessons are typically 1 hour long, however this can be more or less depending on the individual.
