About Ava
My name is Ava and I aim to help students improve their understanding of the German language. I have been learning German since 2017, and I am continuing my study of the language at Trinity College Dublin, where I will be looking further into German literature and culture. As a Law and German student, my lecture hours are low, and I am willing to be flexible when it comes to scheduling lessons.

- I teach 4th, 5th, and 6th-year students, with lessons usually lasting 60 minutes. - I take a step-by-step approach to teaching German to build the student's understanding and proficiency by increasing difficulty. - I use past-paper questions, online exercises, and notes prepared by myself to ensure high-quality tuition. - I was taught by native German speaker and textbook author Melanie Henry at second-level, and completed an intensive language course at the Humboldt Institut in Lindenberg, Germany. This aided me in receiving 99% in my LC German exam.

Ava is a very knowledgeable and patient teacher. She understands the Leaving Cert course very well and so knows what to prioritise
