About Matt
I was born in the UK, but I've been in the USA since 2009. I've spent 35+ years as an entrepreneur, freelance consultant, writer, and teacher. I've worked mostly with startup businesses in Europe and the USA, in many different roles. My clients have included software companies, marketing agencies, retailers, lawyers, artists, venture capitalists, and many more. But whatever role I get hired for, I always seem to end up doing the same thing - helping the CEO and management team figure out how to become more efficient and reduce stress. This has involved everything from reducing unnecessary paperwork and meetings, to figuring out how to balance laundry and childcare with the demands of running a growing company. I'm a big believer in work/life balance. I believe that we should all be able to have the time to enjoy our lives. A big part of that is finding ways to work smarter and get more done with less effort - at work, at home, or at school.

Matt is just lovely! He is always patient and gracious with his time. You can ask him just about anything on any number of topics and he will answer you with almost encyclopedic knowledge, but will explain in a way that is easy to understand, digest, and most importantly show you how to implement what he's teaching you while allowing you the space to do it in your own way. We worked together previously for an online company where he was their project manager, I worked directly under him as their social media manager, and having had very little experience in marketing, he was a tremendous help to me as I had no previous training and needed to get to work and figure things out quickly. I went on to start a freelance Virtual Assistant Business on my own and many of the things he taught me have helped me along the way. His advice and guidance over the years have been crucial in my own growth journey personally and professionally. I am very confident that Matt will be of great help to you in your journey, too!
Matt is just brilliant. I've been privileged to work closely with him in a highly pressured, goal-oriented environment. When it comes to covering aspects like setting goals, staying focused, avoiding burnout, and more, I highly recommend tapping into his vast experience. His insights are invaluable, and his ability to guide and inspire under pressure is exactly what he excels in.
Matt is a excellent teacher, understanding his topic and the way to explain this to his students or teams.

David KlättborgMatt is positive and pedagogical. He is a good listener and like to teach. He has a lot of experience from different businesses and is happy to share his learnings.
I highly recommend Matt.Matt wrote the book on productivity. Well, maybe he didn't, but if we would have, he would have done it very quickly and every reader could immediately apply the lessons in the book to their life, business, and passions.
Matt can reduce what would take someone eight hours to do to about three hours, using best practices in efficiency and technology.
When it comes to setting goals, how to focus, how to avoid burn-out, and getting things done more quickly, Matt is your man.I wholeheartedly recommend Matt as a personal coach, I can say without a doubt that he knows his stuff when it comes to productivity. He's got this knack for breaking things down in a way that just clicks. Matt manages to be both passionate about the subject and incredibly patient. He never makes you feel rushed or stressed, which is pretty crucial when you're trying to improve your work habits. If you're looking to get more organized and focused, Matt's your guy.
Matt and I have run businesses together. At various times over 20 years we have employed each other. I can say with complete confidence that I have learned more from Matt about getting things done than any other source.
Matt consistently undersells his deep knowledge of product design, marketing, growth planning, team building, job crafting, design, literature, content creation, video, film, music, and how humans behave.
He is not bad with project management and software creation either.
More importantly, Matt helps me right now (at a very difficult time) to identify what does NOT need to be done (and when or why it might be needed), thus saving me from waste and missing what is important.
He is an acute observer of humans operating alone and in groups, which he uses to help all his "pupils" navigate smoothly to their goals.
His style is calm, direct, factual, honest, with just enough empathy and a little gentle humour.
I recommend him strongly if you have part of an idea of what you want to achieve in a business and feel stuck or frustrated by lack of progress towards it.
He can be distracted by tea. That's about all.I've known Matt for approximately 30 years and I've always found him to be a unique blend of precision and feel. He is both analytical and philosophical in equal measure, and the person I always turn to for second opinion insights into whatever art or life challenges I'm working on.
