About Andrew

I'm an Industrial Designer and Teacher and have been working in the profession, teaching adults and young people, creating courses and tutorials for more than 10 years. I'm also a lifelong learner and love being ahead of the technology curve. My goal is to let you succeed in a positive and welcoming atmosphere.

About the lesson

Need help getting your equipment up and running? 3D printer jammed again? Stuck on a tricky modeling problem? No problem! I can help you get started, troubleshoot, and learn the necessary skills to learn all digital fabrication techniques.

I work on machines of all processes, shapes, and sizes:
-3D printers (FDM, Resin)
-Laser cutters
-CNC machines, routers
-CNC plasma cutters
-Waterjet cutters
-3D scanners

I can work with most software:
-Fusion 360
-Solidworks
-Lightburn
-Adobe Illustrator
-Inkscape
...and many more!

Virtual tutoring starts at $40/hr.
Pricing is project based or $100/hr.

Jon came prepared with specific questions and a bunch of self-started research. We were able to jump right in and talk about the specific tasks he wanted to accomplish with his project - I was quickly able to work with him to get him up to speed.

He teaches industrial design at a university so his ability to understand and break things down and explain them is impressive.
