All four students have talent and can do very well. The oldest student will be able to progress smoothly with no problems as long as he is engaged in music he enjoys and keeps at an appropriate level of piano so as not to get bored. He has a lot of natural talent and discipline that I see when playing. The next student has a lot of natural talent as well, but he just needs to slow down some and allow his fingers to catch up with his mind. He will do best with more engaging songs and materials that harness his imagination so he won’t be bored. The six-year old is doing well also and is on the right track. The youngest student has a natural ear for music and should be able to learn as well as long as he can be disciplined to listen during lessons. So, we will just find some things to keep him engaged and parents can help him practice throughout the week so he can advance (I think he will enjoy it more if he sees if he learning each week).
