About Donna Maria
I gave private tutoring lessons from 2008-2009. Students meet with me at the publc Library or their home. I would prefer to meet in a public place.
I have taught 12-15 students, and in the public school system substituted teaching more than 30 students.
The results students have achieved are the following.
* better comprehension skills
* better writing skills
* able to communicate effectively
* score high on the End of grade test

I am a Teacher at Brookstone Schools of Charlotte, currently Teaching Bible to grades 1st-8th. I tutor a reading group 5 days a week to assist in building their comprehension skills.
My tecniques and methods of instructions are the following:

* discussion
* comprehension
I have taught 2nd & 3rd grade previously using the Abeka Curriculum.
As a Teacher I am excited to see students retain the material they have learned.
