About Salman
Learning GIS and Remote Sensing can be challenging, but with the right guidance, it becomes practical and enjoyable. My goal is to help students build confidence by explaining complex concepts in a simple, structured way and providing hands-on experience with industry-standard tools.
With a Master's degree in Remote Sensing and GIS, First-Class Honors, and professional experience as a GIS and Spatial Data Expert, GIS Analyst, Research Assistant, and Teaching Assistant, I bring both academic knowledge and real-world expertise to every lesson. I have worked with university students, researchers, and professionals on GIS, remote sensing, spatial analysis, and satellite data applications.

My teaching style is practical, interactive, and tailored to each student's goals and experience. I combine clear explanations with hands-on exercises using real-world datasets, helping students build both theoretical knowledge and practical GIS and Remote Sensing skills.
Lessons typically last 60–90 minutes and cover topics such as ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, Google Earth Engine, remote sensing, satellite image processing, spatial analysis, map creation, and Python for geospatial applications. Whether you're working on coursework, research, or professional projects, lessons are customized to meet your needs.
I hold a Master of Engineering in Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems with First-Class Honors from the Asian Institute of Technology. I have worked as a GIS and Spatial Data Expert, GIS Analyst, Research Assistant, and Teaching Assistant, training students and professionals in geospatial technologies.
My lessons are suitable for high school students, university students, researchers, and professionals—from complete beginners to advanced learners looking to strengthen their GIS and Remote Sensing skills.
