About Sarah
I am the Provincial Spatial Coordinator for FrontCounter BC. I work making maps and supporting mapping applications for the government of British Columbia, while also providing mapping services and support for the BC Wildfire Service. I have a degree in Community Development, a diploma in Natural Resource Management and a diploma in Cartography and GIS. I was a teacher prior to entering my current field, so I am confident in my ability to simplify complex concepts. I'm also confident in my knowledge base, and want to help others learn :) I'm very friendly and love to learn and teach, so please don't hesitate to reach out.

I was a teacher prior to entering forestry and GIS, so my teaching style is as follows:
-A listening first approach
-Approaching topics that genuinely interest learners
-Introducing multiple ways to learn based on the learners needs
-Providing a multitude of resources so people can learn in
a way that they feel comfortable
My GIS and AI lessons would benefit:

-School aged children/teen agers looking for direction on career paths, and what their options are
