About Dhanya
I am a vet student who is experienced in mentoring school students and keen to share my passion for subjects with them!
I have developed relevant skills such as communication (from previous mentorship roles), time management and punctuality (the importance of which I learnt from being an active member of several university societies and becoming the president of our Music Society) and the balance between friendliness and professionalism which I have fine tuned through my vast and ongoing work experience towards my veterinary medicine degree. I hope to support a community of students in a way I wish I had been supported at school!

I am friendly, professional and reliable - I will tailor lessons to the needs of my students and always strive to build a strong rapport with them! I have experience teaching online lessons over lockdown and now that I am back at uni I've realised how much I miss teaching!
My lessons will be structured for efficiency but will allow a degree of flexibility to ensure there is time to address any of the students' relevant concerns. I believe school age students deal with a multitude of pressures, therefore I will aim to motivate and encourage students through fall-backs and successes to build their confidence and their eagerness to learn.

Her skill as a singer and natural ability to teach is evident in the rapid improvement her students make! She is very encouraging so even shy students will gain confidence quickly - I could not recommend her more!
Dhanya was my singing teacher for 3 years and I have 0 complaints! Not only is she a beautiful singer but taught so well and my singing and confidence improved drastically over the past few years as she helped me train for concerts and recitals. Would highly recommend her as a great singing teacher!
