About Brodie

With 12 years of experience in ESL teaching, I specialise in helping high school and college students strengthen their English skills and gain confidence in communication. My lessons are highly personalised, tailored to the student’s level, learning style, and academic goals.

I integrate grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking instruction with interactive exercises, discussions, and real-world examples to make lessons engaging and practical. I am known for my patience, clarity, and ability to simplify complex concepts, creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable participating and making progress.

About the lesson

I adopt a C³P teaching methodology—Creativity, Communication, Compassion, and Problem-solving—to teach ESL effectively. Creativity is promoted through storytelling, role-playing, and project-based activities that allow students to explore language freely and express themselves confidently.

Communication is central to my approach, using discussions, debates, and collaborative exercises to strengthen fluency, comprehension, and real-life communication skills. Compassion ensures lessons are student-centred and personalised, providing ongoing support, encouragement, and constructive feedback.

I also cover related subjects such as reading comprehension, writing, and vocabulary enrichment for holistic academic growth.
