Duration : Varies - Price : $30.00 - Place : Round RockDiana is a retired Masters educated healthcare professional who has been involved in art work her entire life. She is competent in drawing, use of pastels, watercolor and other mediums. Diana taught 4th-6th graders a classical Art curriculum followed by a trip to the Houston Museum of Fine Arts for several years. She covers styles, topics and mediums using many famous artists in history, both European and American. Diana's curriculum begins with the same assumption as Leonardo da Vinci - God as the Ultimate Artist displayed in His Creation - and follows the Seasons as a theme for projects. Students should plan to bring all but the most basic supplies to class at the Artist's home in Round Rock Texas. classes are 1 hour long and by appointment only.

Course setup
Although Diana is doctorally educated in the Nursing care of Seniors with 40 years experience, she really wanted to be an artist when she was young and won high school awards for her artwork. Since Highschool, she has enjoyed being self-taught and has sold watercolors, natural wreaths, as well as her one-of-a-kind hand knitted items, another form of art expression. Diana is a devoted follower of the Jesus of the Bible, and as such her teaching reflects her belief that God is the Ultimate Artist. Diana's beginning class combines the importance of learning the basics in drawing competence with the science of observation as Leonardo practiced it.
Diana has two Cavalier pet dogs and is helping her son to raise her elementary aged grandkids. Therefore all classes are held between 10am & 2pm. Minimum class time is 1 hour.
