About Lila
I have over 2 years of experience teaching software and programming, guiding students across all levels of learning. My sessions cover Python, Java, C++, and web development languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I focus on practical, problem-based learning that makes coding clear and exciting. Students learn how to approach problems logically, debug errors, and build confidence step by step. My lessons are interactive, using live coding examples to explain abstract concepts. I also integrate real-world projects, such as simple apps or websites, to make lessons relevant. For exam preparation, I emphasize past paper practice and timed problem-solving. I encourage independent thinking, teaching learners how to break problems into smaller tasks. My structured method helps students progress smoothly from basics to advanced topics. Many of my learners have gone on to pursue computer science in university with strong foundations. I believe programming is a skill best learned by doing, not memorizing. My teaching approach in programming focuses on strengthening logical thinking. Every lesson is designed to build the reasoning behind coding, not just memorizing syntax. For project learners, I encourage applying logic to create interactive programs or websites. I use relatable examples, so learners see how programming mirrors real-world problem solving. My lessons are interactive, where students explain their thought process as they code. This strengthens understanding and builds confidence. Over time, learners become more independent and capable of tackling complex challenges. My aim is to make programming a tool for logical reasoning and creativity combined.
