About Jackie

Being a person who was very shy about singing but always had the passion to sing from a young age, I totally understand how you maybe feeling. I'm all about confidence building. I believe that singing is Therapeutic a Healing necessity in everyone's lives. After singing for over 40years as a Gospel,Soul, Reggae and Jazz singer and sang in various groups. Ran workshops in schools and colleges around parts of the world and also created short courses for singers. I have also worked in colleges for AduIt Education. During lockdown i overcame my anxieties after having 2 operations on my throat in 2006 and 2008 which left me not being able to sing for over 2 years. I released a few songs in which helped 100s of people to get through lockdown. That in itself was an accomplishment. So if i can overcome so can you.
I'm here to help bring out the best in you. I will help you find your range, your voice, and find you, working at a pace that suits you.

About the lesson

I will work steadily but sure to bring out the best in your voice. Confidence building is the key. I will help find your comfortable range. Work on songs, breathing exercises and breathing correctly is very important so as not to damage your vocals. I will allow you to express yourself, give feedback every step of the way. I'm excellent in making people feel relaxed and free. Don't get me wrong I will work you hard lol but that's for your gain.
