people learn best when they themselves figure out how to solve a problem. Learning is most effective when a teacher shows someone the way to the answer, rather than showing them the answer itself. This builds motivation for the learner to work harder on their own. This is what you want, since at the end of the day, no matter how much tutoring is done, the learner is the one being tested. I teach in a way that nurtures curiosity led self-investigation, as well as thoroughly reviewing topics and ensuring mastery in the given subject matter while keeping the learning engaging.
