About Kar

*Hello! I am your buddy Kar! I am 27. I am a Chemical Engineer with 2 years of experience in Tutoring. I have a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from CSULB. I am currently doing my M.S. in Engineering Management from CPP. *Hobbies: - Soccer - Bowling - Tennis - Jogging - Traveling *I've been assisting students from all levels with Mathematics and Chemistry for a long time. I developed a passion for teaching ever since I was in high school when I used to teach my siblings. However, my professional tutoring experience first started in 2016 when I worked as a Tutor in my community college's student center. About the lesson

*The structure of any tutoring session is of prime importance. I firmly believe that a well-structured lesson brings the most out of the student, thus producing outstanding achievements!

*I have the ability to develop well-structured lessons with challenging, measurable objectives and appropriate student engagement strategies, pacing, sequence, activities, materials, resources, technologies, and grouping. With that being said, I am capable of implementing lesson plans that meet the needs of all students.

*My well-structured lessons are a result of high level communication, which include but not limited to:
- Discussing with students and setting the ultimate goals students want to achieve by the end of all tutoring sessions.
- Describing the specific knowledge and ability the student would have acquired after all tutoring sessions.
- Briefly introducing what the student will be learning throughout the course of their sessions.
- Describing how my lesson plan aligns with the curriculum that the student is learning at school.
- Describing how my teaching style and sessions plan are tailored to meet the needs of the student.

Perfect! I entered college after a 5-year hiatus from school, with math and chemistry being my biggest struggles. Kar has been an absolute blessing in my academic career. Not only is he dedicated and intelligent, but he is also one of the kindest people I have come to know. It's just who he is, and it truly shows in his work. When a teacher makes you feel comfortable thats when you learn the most. You are safe to make mistakes, ask embarrassing questions, or even the same question over and over. That's why Kar is a great teacher. His intelligence is impressive, but his patience, kindness, and dedication to truly helping you succeed are what set him apart.
