About Ala
I am currently an engineering student studying Electrical Engineering in a Canadian University. I perform exceptionally well, obtaining an almost perfect GPA of 3.97/4 over multiple classes. I excel in abstract thinking, whether it be mathematics, physics, chemistry or engineering science.
Not only do I perform extremely well in school, but I also am an excellent teacher. I have helped countless of my classmates throughout high school and university by tutoring them and explaining concepts in a more familiar, less “traditional” way.
I also deeply believe that every student has the potential to do great things, and that with enough work and grit, anyone can achieve an exceptional academic standing.
I make sure to stay with students even if they do not understand something after multiple explanations, because I know the next explanation or problem might be where they unlock their ability!!

As a Tutor, my plan is simple:
To master a subject, we must always approach it in a structured manner, by separating it into multiple small steps to make understanding more intuitive and meaningful. A strong focus on practice problems is also crucial to allow the material to be absorbed.
I always emphasize guiding my students through each step of the thinking process so that they can later apply it themselves as if I was there.
After all, learning is just like riding a bike, anyone can make it with practice!
