About Allison
My name is Allison, and I am a dedicated and patient math tutor who enjoys helping students build confidence in their math skills. I graduated one year early with a 3.8 GPA and earned three college math credits while in high school.
I understand that every student learns differently, so I take the time to explain concepts clearly and work through problems step by step. My goal is not only to help students complete their work, but to help them understand the material and feel confident solving problems independently.
I provide tutoring in Basic Math, Algebra, and Geometry for middle school and high school students. Whether you need homework assistance, test preparation, or extra practice, I am committed to creating a supportive and professional learning environment.

My teaching approach is patient, supportive, and focused on making math easy to understand. I break difficult problems into smaller steps, explain the reasoning behind each step, and adjust my teaching style to fit each student’s learning needs.
A typical lesson begins by reviewing what the student already knows, identifying areas they are struggling with, and then working through examples together. We finish with practice problems to make sure the student feels confident working independently.
What sets me apart is my personal experience with math and my ability to explain concepts in a simple, relatable way. I graduated one year early with a 3.8 GPA and earned 3 college math credits while in high school.
My lessons are designed for middle school and high school students who need help with basic math, Algebra, or Geometry, including homework help, test preparation, and building stronger math skills.
