About William
As a 3.8 GPA High School graduate enrolled in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Victoria, I specialize in helping middle and high school students understand all kinds of science, math, and English language arts coursework. As I build a friendly relationship with my students and learn more about them and what they need via the Socratic Method, I get better and better at tailoring lessons around their needs and unique learning style. In the past, I have tutored my friends in High School with great success, resulting in their grades increasing significantly. Outside of tutoring, I build robotic and electronic projects as a fun and enriching hobby.

As a tutor, I am willing to help middle and high school students understand their course work in all types of math and science, as well as English language arts.
My methodology for tutoring involves the building of a healthy relationship with my students, and the use of the Socratic Method. This methodology allows me to provide my students with precisely what knowledge and skills they lack in a way tailored just for them.
I equip all of my students with the studying methods and learning resources that allowed me to go from a straight B student to a straight A student when I was in high school. This will allow me to help my students even outside of tutoring sessions and perhaps throughout their whole life. The resources in particular include YouTube channels and websites packed with knowledge for all levels, and in a plethora of different forms for all types of learners.
All my students need to do is show me what they need help with learning. I will put together a lesson plan around it, and use my methods to assist them in a very engaging way!
