About Mitchell
I am a mathematics major with research experience in partial differential equations and theoretical computer science. While this sounds complicated, it really just means that I love math! Additionally, I am the founder of the Putnam Mathematics Club at Ryerson University. A few students and myself spend time working on complex problems in our spare time in preparation for the Putnam Mathematics Competition.

I prefer a personal approach with specific attention paid to each student's learning preferences. Specifically, some students learn better visually or through writing the problem out themselves. I attempt to make the student do as many of the steps as possible, as I find this is the best way to ensure they are committing the lesson to memory.
Specifically I work with high school students from Grade 9 to 12, though I am happy to teach younger students as well.
