About Austin

Studied Spanish all throughout elementary school, and High School. Went to Rollins College in Florida where my Spanish skills were honed in and out of the classroom. Earned a double major in International Business & Spanish. Taught English as a second language to the college's staff with the aid of my Spanish skills. Worked as a tutor for my college lacrosse team my Junior & Senior year, helping teammates with difficult grammar and pronunciation. Lived abroad in Spain for two months in the summer of 2015 as a student, and two months in the summer of 2016 as an intern for the largest events planning company in Madrid. Excited to pass on everything that I've learned!

About the lesson

Hello! My name is Austin Lyne and my passion in life is to learn, and to teach. If you are struggling with tongue-twisting pronunciation and the seemingly nonsensical grammar of the Spanish language, I can be your Gringo guide to enlightenment. Teachers will be knocked off their feet, and your classmates will ask if you've been watching telenovelas 24/7 after our first few sessions. Please don't hesitate to reach out!
