About Lauren
I am a stay-at-home mom who works full time. I have been working with children since I was 16, teaching for over 12 years. I love being crafty. Writing is my favorite thing to teach. I love hearing children's ideas and watching them mold their writing. Reading is a passion of mine. My son and I read every night. I believe reading is a key to adventure.

I love presenting lessons in a variety of learning styles. I incorporate games, hands-on activities, videos, live modeling, frequent check-ins to ensure your little one is understanding and keeping up, movement breaks, and in some cases songs and music. I love working with the lower elementary grades; however, I have experience working all the way to seniors in high school. I have been told I'm very bubbly and I stress the importance of mistakes and how we grow and learn from them.
