My teaching approach varies from student to student- but something I like to keep constant with every student is an emphasis on enjoying the lesson. I find that if a concept is taught in a dry, non-engaging way, the student either doesn’t understand, loses interest, or both. Since I like to teach a couple different things, I definitely cater the lesson plan to the specific student, and how they learn as an individual.
Hi! I am a graduate student pursuing a Master’s degree in Violin Performance. I am originally from Atlanta, Georgia, where I graduated last year with a Bachelor’s degree in Violin Performance, as well. I have been teaching for about 8 years, and teach violin, viola, and music theory. I am not picky about the age group I teach, and have taught kids from as young as 5 all the up to adults. I love to teach anyone who wants to learn more about music!
30 minute, 45 minute, or 60 minute lessons offered! I usually price $60/hour, $45/45 min, and $30/30 minutes. My rate is a little higher than some, but I provide all supplies except the instrument.
