About Summer
I have a decent music foundation, with a grade 8 ABRSM Piano performance, grade 7 Trinity College Classical Guitar as well as grade 6 ABRSM music theory. I've had around a year of experience in providing piano tutoring services, for leisure as well as for exams and scholarships preparation. I've had two years of experience in tutoring disadvantaged children from ages 6-16, allowing me to adapt different teaching methods catering to the individual's needs.

My lessons are consisted of different activities to develop one's music reading and aural skills, learning the background and context of classical music and then applying those knowledge to the pieces learnt. I focus on the performance aspect of piano; I want to encourage my pupils to play music, not just read the notes.
