About Isabelle
Hi! I am Isabelle, a first-year university student studying BMed Sci Speech and Language Therapy at the University of Sheffield. I am passionate about STEM subjects such as Maths, Biology and Psychology and have been a tutor for the past 4 years. Over this period, my favourite part has been sharing my enthusiasm with my students and watching their confidence develop as they become more comfortable with both theory and exam technique. Outside of education, I enjoy tennis, crafts and reading!

Lessons last for 1 hour and begin with an assessment of baseline knowledge. This is followed by an explanation of the topic's theory, including exam questions that we work through together to ensure that the student fully understands the topic. The lesson concludes with independent exam questions that we mark together and feedback or next steps are discussed. I have found this method particularly effective over the last 4 years with students of varying abilities. The lessons are full of enthusiasm and are engaging in order to develop confidence and passion for the subject. Maths lessons are suitable for those up to GCSE (Higher) standard and A-Level Biology/Psychology students.
