About Maria

Hi, I'm Maria! I'm an A-Level student studying Maths, Biology and Chemistry, and I'm really passionate about science, especially biochemistry, which I'm hoping to study at university. I love how science explains the world around us, and I want to help other students see it that way too, instead of just memorising facts. I'm responsible, patient and well organised, and I take my lessons seriously. I enjoy seeing students grow in confidence once a topic finally clicks, and I'd love to help you get there.

About the lesson

I offer friendly, personalised lessons in Maths, Biology and Chemistry for KS3 and KS4 students. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my methods and explanations to your needs and pace, whether you want a better understanding of a topic, help with homework, or preparation for topic tests and GCSE exams.

I achieved grade 9s in GCSE Maths, Further Maths (Level 2), Biology and Chemistry, and I'm now studying Maths, Biology and Chemistry at A-Level, so I know the curriculum well and exactly what it takes to get top marks.

I also have around a year of tutoring experience with younger children, which has made me patient and good at breaking difficult ideas into simple steps. Lessons usually last one hour, but I can do two hours with a break in between if you need extra time.
