About Rishav
First picked up drumsticks at age 15. Played my first professional gig at 17. I have won multiple drum competitions and played major shows ever since.
- Stage & Studio Experience: Played live for massive crowds, recorded drum tracks for professionally produced albums, mastered multiple genres, and built a rock-solid internal clock.
- Solid Foundation: Formally trained in advanced rudiments, reading sheet music, and proper stick technique.
I have graduated with Distinction at Grade 7 from Calcutta School of Music, in affiliation with Trinity College of London.

Unlike most generic teachers, my teaching techniques stress mostly on mastering the basics by playing real songs and building a solid groove (inspired by my own learning methods).
- Senior gigging drummers spent years learning best industry practices (timing, dynamics, tuning). I teach these from Day 1 along with the appropriate usage of practice tools (click tracks, backing tracks).
- 100% Hands-On: We get straight behind the kit and learn while playing solid, musical grooves.
- The Routine: We break down a concept, apply it to a real song, troubleshoot technique like professionals, and I leave you with a fun, bite-sized practice challenge for next time.

Basically anyone who wants to learn. From kids to intermediate players, to gigging professionals. If you have the knack to learn, I can make you a master of the kit!
