About Kavi
I am a 14 year old secondary school Grade 9 maths student who consistently gets full marks in his End-of-Year Exams. I have started tutoring as I have all the knowledge from all the curriculum's up to key-stage-3. My prices are £15 per hour (per student). I have experience in teaching younger kids as I am a maths ambassador for my school, where I teach younger kids maths weekly. This has built up my experience in teaching young kids so it stays in their long term memory. Most kids I have tutored, have increased their grades substantially.

My teaching method is Repetition, Timed testing and Maths games. I feel like these teaching methods will really help the information sink into there long term memory. The maths games is there as a bonus at the end, so the student enjoys themselves as a treat for working hard for the past hour. I base my classes on what subject the student wants to learn, I will ask the student before the session what subjects he is weak on and adapt the lesson on what topics they suggest, this allows me to pre-plan the lessons to make sure all areas of the mentioned topics are covered. I approach each topic with a mindset that the student is learning this topic for the first time, which allows me to start from the basics and then gradually build up their knowledge.
