About Isabella
My name is Isabella and I am in grade 9 at Joey Moss school. My average in math is at a 97% and I plan on taking Math AP in high school. I have quite strong social skills and enjoy helping and teaching those around me! People I know would describe me as adaptable, confident, understanding and friendly. Many people approach me when they need a review of a topic or a personal lesson. I look forward to tutoring your child and my goal is to make them feel confident in their work!

My goal is to help make sure every student has confidence in their math understanding. I like to help teach students in a personal and specific way, whether that means visual learning, lots of practice or breaking down topics. By finding a student's learning method I can help them understand in a customized and easy way. A typical lesson plan will include me introducing the topic and doing a 'warm-up.' This means reviewing the past topic and doing some basic questions to get our brains in the zone. I will also ask if there are any specific points we are struggling on or we should direct our main focus to. Then, we will move on to the main lesson where I will either teach or review the topic and guide them through practice questions. Next, I will give them some practice so that we can see our strong suits and areas that might need some more polishing. Finally, I will be wrapping up the lesson and showing them a glimpse of what's ahead in the next session. My lessons are directed for anyone wanting more practice or help with understanding math from grades 1-8 and I am welcome to anybody.
